# Enable Bulk Unblind

Learn how to enable the bulk unblind feature for _Studies_.

## About the Feature

With the 22R1 release, you can unblind multiple cases in a given study with a single action. This includes both the removal of blind protection for previously unblinded cases and mapping study arm product information for blinded cases. _Cases_ currently in workflow are not modified by this action. After you have enabled this feature, see <a href="/en/gr/01181/">Bulk Unblind a Study</a> for more information.

## Configure the Launch Bulk Actions Action on the Study Lifecycle

Configure the _Launch Bulk Actions_ action on the _Study Lifecycle_:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > Study > Actions**.
2. Add the **Launch Bulk Actions** action.
3. Navigate to **Configuration > Object Lifecycles > Study Lifecycle > Active**.
4. Add the **Launch Bulk Actions** user action.

## Grant Permissions

Update the _Administration Action_ <a href="/en/gr/23647/#how_to_edit_permission_sets">permission set</a> to include _View_ permission for the following pages:

* _Study Multi-Case Actions_
* _Bulk Unblinding Layout_

## Configure the End of Study Unblinding Workflow

Add a user action to start the _Case Revision_ workflow:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Object Lifecycles > Case Lifecycle > End of Study Unblinding**.
2. Add the _Start Follow-Up Processing_ <a href="/en/gr/43127/">user action</a>.

## Update Application Role

Ensure the _End of Study Unblinding_ application role can access _Cases_ in the _End of Study Unblinding_ state:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Object Lifecycles > Case Lifecycle > Roles**.
2. Select **Edit**.
3. For _End of Study Unblinding_, select the **Edit** checkbox.
4. Select **Save**.
