# Enable Device Case Assessments & ICSR Transmissions

With the 26R1 release, Veeva Safety enhances the Rule Engine to evaluate reporting requirements for each device constituent of a _Case Product_. This automation ensures that ICSR transmissions are generated accurately and without manual intervention reducing the risk of non-compliance.

## Update Safety General Settings

To configure your Vault to create assessments for device constituents of combination products:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Settings > Safety General Settings**.
2. Select **Edit**.
3. In the _Auto-generate Assessments_ section, select the **Enable Device Constituent Case Assessments** checkbox.
4. Select **Save**.

## Update the Transmission Profile Layouts

<a href="/en/gr/26387/#how-to-add-object-fields">Add</a> the _Individual Device Transmission_ field to the following _Transmission Profile_ layouts:

* _AS2 Gateway_
* _Email Profile_
* _Manual_
* _System Gateway_
