# Configure Individual Device Transmissions

Veeva Safety supports creating transmissions to Agencies (_Submissions_) and Partners (_Distributions_) for the device constituents of combination products using the following _Transmission_ types:

* _AS2 Gateway_
* _Email Profile_
* _Manual_
* _System Gateway_

Once <a href="/en/gr/1004865/">enabled</a> and configured, Vault creates assessments for the device constituents of combination products. When the <a href="/en/gr/01256/#ero">_Evaluate Reporting Obligations_</a> action runs on a _Case_, Vault evaluates these device assessments against any [Individual Device Transmission (IDT) reporting rules][1]. If such a rule passes, Vault generates a _Transmission_ using the destination's [IDT Transmission Profile][0].

## Create IDT Transmission Profiles {#create-transmission-profiles}

Create a <a href="/en/gr/01202/#create">_Transmission Profile_</a> for an Agency or Partner and set its _Individual Device Transmission_ field to _Yes_.

## Add IDT Reporting Rules {#add-reporting-rules}

To create ISCR Reporting Rules for IDTs for an Agency or Partner, <a href="/en/gr/873466/#add-rules">create custom reporting rules</a> in their Rule Set that include the <a href="/en/gr/01250/#individual-device-transmission">IDT Reporting Rule Parameter</a>.
