# Configure Signal Calculations Settings for Aggregate Reporting Groups

Vault can perform _Signal Calculations_ at either the _Product Family_ level or the _Aggregate Reporting Group_ level. When configured at the _Aggregate Reporting Group_ level, Vault can use all of the _Product Families_ specified in the _Aggregate Reporting Group_ to <a href="/en/gr/935433/">run calculations</a> that <a href="/en/gr/935435/#statistical-data-from-signal-calc-runs">generate _Statistical Data_</a> at the _Aggregate Reporting Group_-MedDRA Preferred Term (PT) level and the _Aggregate Reporting Group_-MedDRA query level.

To use this functionality, [configure][1] your _Signal Calculations Settings_ to use the appropriate safety views.

## Prerequisite
To configure this feature you must first <a href="/en/gr/1007527/">enable Signal Calculations for Product Family Combinations</a>.

## Configure Signal Calculations Settings {#configure}
To configure your _Signal Calculations Settings_ to reference the appropriate <a href="/en/gr/753138/">safety views</a>:
1. <a href="/en/gr/753144/#create-signal-calculations-settings">Create a new _Signal Calculations Setting_</a>, or navigate to the appropriate _Signal Calculations Setting_.
2. <a href="/en/gr/753144/#create-signal-calculations">Add _Signal Calculations_</a> to the appropriate _Signal Calculations Setting_, populating the _Signal View_ with the appropriate safety view.
3. Repeat step 2 for each safety view, as required.
