# Configure Workbench Pregnancy Annex 3 Aggregate Reports

Workbench provides Pregnancy Annex 3 table generation capabilities as part of pregnancy aggregate reporting. Vault generates the following standard Pregnancy Annex 3 tabulations and line listings, with support for masked and unmasked versions of each:

* Pregnancy Event Line Listing
* Pregnancy Case Line Listing
* Pregnancy Annex 3 Maternal Tabulation
* Pregnancy Annex 3 Paternal Tabulation

## Overview

To configure Pregnancy Annex 3 aggregate reports:

1. [Copy each preconfigured Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench View_][1].
2. [Configure view dependencies][3] for each copied _Workbench View_.
3. [Create _Workbench Report Definitions_][4] for each report.
4. [Create an _Aggregate Reporting Group_][5] to identify the _Products_ and _Studies_ to include in each report.

## Copy the Pregnancy Annex 3 Views {#copy-preconfigured-views}

To configure Workbench Pregnancy Annex 3 aggregate reporting, we recommend you copy each [Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench View_][2]. To copy a Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench View_:
1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Workbench Views**.
2. Search for the desired [Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench View_][2].
3. Copy the desired _Workbench View_.
4. From the _Create Workbench View_ page, populate the fields as follows, then select **Save**:
   * **Name**: Enter a name for the Pregnancy Annex 3 view
   * **API Name**: Enter an API name ending in `__c`
   * **Description**: Enter a description for the Pregnancy Annex 3 view
5. In the _Hierarchical Copy Option_ dialog that appears, select the **Copy Related Records** checkbox, then select **Save**.

To configure view dependencies, start with copies of the following views:

* _Pregnancy Annex 3 > Latest Version_

For each copied _Workbench View_ that corresponds to a report, configure the _Workbench View Dependency_ field to map to its corresponding parent view:

1. Search for and navigate to the copied [Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench View_][2].
2. In the _Dependent Views_ section, on the existing _Dependent View_ record, select **Actions > Edit**.
3. Based on the copied _Workbench View_ you are editing, select a **Dependent View**, then select **Save**:
   * **Pregnancy Annex 3 Principal > Latest Version**: Select the copied **Pregnancy Annex 3 Principal**
   * **All report-specific views**: Select the copied **Pregnancy Annex 3 Principal > Latest Version**
   * **Pregnancy Annex 3 Principal**: Not applicable; this view has no dependencies.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for all copied _Workbench Views_.

## Create Workbench Report Definitions {#create-workbench-report-definitions}

To allow users to generate Pregnancy Annex 3 Workbench aggregate reports, you must create Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench Report Definitions_. When you create a _Workbench Report Definition_, the _Workbench View_ you configure determines which Pregnancy Annex 3 report Vault creates when a user generates _Workbench Reports_.

We recommend you create a _Workbench Report Definition_ for each of your [copied Pregnancy Annex 3 _Workbench Views_][1].

To create a _Workbench Report Definition_:

1. Navigate to **Workbench Admin > Report Definitions**.
2. Select **Create**.
3. From the _Create Report Definition_ page, populate the _Properties_ fields as follows:
   * **Name**: Enter a name for the _Workbench Report Definition_
   * **Workbench View**: Select the _Workbench View_ you created based on the [preconfigured view][2]
   * **Report Category** & **Report Subcategory**: These fields are optional
   * **API Name**: Enter an API name ending in `__c`
4. In the _Layout_ section, select **Select Fields** to define the fields that will appear on any resulting _Workbench Reports_, then select **Confirm**. Optionally, replicate the field order of the relevant [Pregnancy Annex 3 report][2].
5. Select **Save**.
6. (Optional) To customize the layout of your _Workbench Report_:
   1. In Vault, navigate to the _Workbench Report Definition_ and select **Edit**.
   2. In the **Excel Template** field within the _Advanced Options_ section, upload the relevant **Pregnancy Annex 3 Excel template**.
   3. Select **Save**.

## Create an Aggregate Reporting Group {#create-aggregate-reporting-group}

Create an _Aggregate Reporting Group_ to identify the _Products_ and _Studies_ that the _Workbench Report Set_ should consider.

**Note**: The Pregnancy Annex 3 does not consider any _Product Registrations_ included in the _Aggregate Reporting Group_.
