# Enable the Korea Drug Dictionary

With the 25R1 release, Veeva Safety supports coding on _External Product_ types of _Case Products_ against the Korea Drug Dictionary for domestic _Cases_ and foreign _Localized Cases_, allowing you complete case processing and submissions with the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) codes. Veeva updates Vault's Korea Drug Dictionary twice per year, in line with the <a class="external-link " href="https://who-umc.org/whodrug/whodrug-link-korea/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WHODrug Link Korea<i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a> schedule. <a class="external-link " href="https://rn.veevavault.help/en/gr/safety-central-dictionary-updates" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New versions<i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a> are automatically available in your Vault. You cannot utilize previous versions.

After you have configured this feature, see <a href="/en/gr/827540/">Code Korea Drug Dictionary Products</a> for more information.

## Updates

We have added the following updates to this feature:
* With the 25R3 release, Veeva Safety includes the _Korea Drug Browser_ for _Case Drug Histories_, enabling users to search, browse, and code Korean drugs. See [Configure Korea Drug Browser Support for Case Drug History][1] to configure your Vault for this feature.
* With the 25R3 release, when processing domestic _Cases_ or _Localized Cases_ that are reportable to Korea, after coding _External Products_ on _Case Products_, Vault now populates Ministry of Food and Drug Services (MFDS) Substance IDs on _Localized Case Product Substances_ and Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS) numbers on _Case Product Substances_. This feature supports compliant submissions to MFDS. See [Configure Korean Drug Substance Coding][2] to configure your Vault for this feature.
