# Enable Auto-Submit & Localization Transmission Handling

Learn how to configure your Vault for improved _Localized Case_ processing.


## About the Feature

With the 25R1 release, Vault introduced the following improvements to streamline _Localized Case_ processing:

* The _Regenerate Email Transmissions When Submitting to Gateway_ application setting improves the localized submission process by regenerating _Transmission_ documents for Auto-Submit Email Transmissions.
* The _Change Localized Case State on Creation_ application setting and _System Processing State_ state type on the _Localized Case Lifecycle_ provide a standard method of hiding _Localized Cases_ from users until they are globally approved. Previously, a custom lifecycle state and entry actions were required to address this.
* The new _Calculate Japan Reportability_ action for Japan _Localized Cases_ enables generating _Case Product Registrations_, evaluating reporting obligations, and creating _Local Reporting Detail_ records in a single step.

## Overview

Complete the following procedures to configure Auto-Submit & Localization Transmission Handling in your Vault:

1. [Update ICSR Reporting Settings][0]
2. [Configure the Calculate Japan Reportability Action on Localized Cases][1]
3. [Configure the Submit to Gateway Action on Localized Cases][2]


## <a id="icsr-settings"></a>Update ICSR Reporting Settings

Complete the following steps to turn on this feature in your Vault:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Settings > ICSR Reporting**.
2. Select **Edit**.
3. Select the appropriate checkboxes, as required by your business processes:
   * **Change Localized Case State on Creation**
   * **Regenerate Email Transmissions When Submitting to Gateway**
4. Select **Save**.


## <a id="calc-action"></a>Configure the Calculate Japan Reportability Action on Localized Cases

To configure the _Calculate Japan Reportability_ action, <a href="/en/gr/43127/#assign-actions">assign</a> the action to the _Localized Case_ object and do one (1) of the following:

* Select the **Available in All Lifecycle States** checkbox to apply default <a href="/en/gr/47850/#Atomic_Security_Actions">atomic action security</a> for the applicable lifecycle states.
* Add the action as a <a href="/en/gr/43127/#define-actions">user action</a> to the applicable states of the _Localized Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle.
* Add the action as an <a href="/en/gr/43127/#entry-actions">entry action</a> on any _Localized Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle state.


## <a id="submit-action"></a>Configure the Submit to Gateway Action on Localized Cases

To configure the _Submit to Gateway_ action, <a href="/en/gr/43127/#assign-actions">assign</a> the action to the _Localized Case_ object and do one (1) of the following:

* Select the **Available in All Lifecycle States** checkbox to apply default <a href="/en/gr/47850/#Atomic_Security_Actions">atomic action security</a> for the applicable lifecycle states.
* Add the action as a <a href="/en/gr/43127/#define-actions">user action</a> to the applicable states of the _Localized Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle.
* Add the action as an <a href="/en/gr/43127/#entry-actions">entry action</a> on any _Localized Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle state.
