Enable Receiver Information Export for E2B(R2) & PMDA E2B(R3)

Learn how to configure your Vault to enable the generation of the Receiver Block in E2B(R2) and PMDA E2B(R3) formats.

About the Feature

As of the 22R2 release (August 12, 2022), Vault Safety supports the generation of the Receiver Block in the E2B(R2) formats. Also, the export logic for PMDA E2B(R3) includes recipient information in the J2.18 block.

The changes to the E2B export logic are auto-on. However, the following configuration is required to make the receiver fields available for data entry.

Update the Transmission Profile Layouts

  1. Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Transmission Profile.
  2. Go to the Layouts tab and add the Receiver Person field to the Outbound Settings section of the following layouts:
    • AS2 Gateway
    • Email Profile
    • Manual
    • System Gateway

Create the Receiver Person Layout

  1. Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Person > Layouts and create an object layout for the Receiver Person Detail Page Layout.
  2. In the Receiver Person Detail Page Layout, add the following fields to the Details section:
    • Name
    • Receiver Type
    • Language
    • Email
    • Title
    • First Name
    • Middle Name
    • Last Name
    • Exclude From Receiver Block
    • Organization
    • Department
    • Street Address
    • City
    • State / Province
    • Postal Code
    • Country
    • Telephone
    • Telephone Extension
    • Telephone Country Code
    • Fax
    • Fax Extension
    • Receiver Fax Country Code
