# Enable Local Case Resync

With the 26R2 release, Safety supports an any-time refresh of data on all foreign _Localized Cases_ with the latest information from the global _Case_. This includes updates to foreign _Localized Parent Information_ based on the latest changes to the global _Parent Information_. Enabling on-demand data sync assists in instances when _Localized Cases_ must be updated after _Transmission_ generation or when new records are added after migration. Previously, data syncing was available one _Localization_ at a time following _Transmission_ generation.

## Configure the Resync Foreign Cases Action on Cases

Based on your business process, you can configure the _Resync Foreign Cases_ action in the following ways:

* <a href="/en/lr/43127/#assign-actions">Assign</a> the action to the _Case_ object, then add the action as a <a href="/en/lr/59885/#define-actions">user action</a> or <a href="/en/lr/59885/#entry-actions">entry action</a> to the applicable states of the _Case_ object lifecycle.
* Set up the action as a <a href="/en/lr/33550/#how-to-define-an-action-step">workflow action step</a>.
