About the Auto-Generate Case Forms with Case Closure Job
You can configure your Vault to generate CIOMS I forms automatically for any Cases set to the Closed state on the preceding day. For example, if the job runs on November 23, 2024, at 3:00 AM EST, forms are generated for all Cases set to Closed between 12:00:00 AM and 11:59:59 PM EST on November 22, 2024.
When turned on, this job generates forms each day at your configured time. Both unmasked and masked forms are generated.
CIOMS I Form Generation
Auto-generated CIOMS I forms are version-controlled and populated as follows:
- If the Case Number includes a previously generated CIOMS I form that is not for the latest Case version, the system generates a new minor version and updates that on the Case. The Case field on the new form is set to the current Case version.
- If the Case does not include any CIOMS I forms, a form is generated for the latest Case version.
- When generating CIOMS I Masked forms, the Redacted field is set to Yes.
- When generating CIOMS I Masked forms, if the Study Case version’s Blind Protection field is set to On, the expected study content is blinded.
Configure the Auto-Generate Case Forms with Case Closure Job
Complete the following steps to configure this feature in your Vault:
- Go to Admin > Operations > Job Definitions.
- Select Auto-Generate Case Forms with Case Closure.
- Select Edit.
- In the Status field, select Active.
- (Optional) Update the Job Owner and Time fields.
- Select Save.
Result
The Auto-Generate Case Forms with Case Closure job generates forms each day at the specified time. Generated forms can be viewed on each Closed Case or in the Vault Library.
