# Manage Transmission Output Templates

Learn how to configure Vault for Destinations that require multiple Transmissions per Case.

## About Transmission Output Templates

For each reportable Case, Vault creates a standard single Transmission (either a Submission or a Distribution, depending on your configuration) per passing reporting rule. However, some organizations require multiple Transmissions to be generated based on a single rule. China, for example, requires a Submission to the Center for Drug Evaluation of the NMPA as well as to China's National Health Commission based on the same reporting obligation. For such scenarios, you can configure Vault to generate extra Transmissions in addition to the standard Transmission.

Use the sections below to configure your Vault to generate multiple Transmissions per passing rule.

## Create Transmission Output Templates

Complete the following steps to create a Transmission Output Template for each additional Submission and Distribution required:

1. Go to **Business Admin > Objects > Transmission Output Templates**.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Enter the _Transmission Output Template_ fields, as described in the Transmission Output Template Fields table below.
4. Select **Save**.

                        and the Transmission Profile. In the case of Auto-Submit, it also overrides the

## Add Transmission Output Template Reporting Rule Parameter

Once you have created the required Transmission Output Templates, add a <a href="/en/lr/01250/#transmission-output-template">Transmission Output Template</a> rule parameter to the applicable _Safety Rule_. You have configured your Vault to send multiple Transmissions per passing reporting rule.
