# Enable Multi-Product Selector for Study Products on Cases

Learn how to configure an action that enables Case Processors to quickly add multiple _Study Products_ to a _Study Case_ at once.

## About the Feature

With the 24R3 release, Vault Safety extends the multi-product selector for _Study Products_ from _Inbox Items_ to _Cases_, providing a more consistent user experience across the application. You can now configure the _Specify Study Products_ action on _Cases_ for clinical trial studies, enabling users to add multiple _Study Products_ to a _Study Case_ at once. This results in faster processing of complex studies with numerous phases or study products.

After configuring this feature, see Code and Browse Study Products for more information.

## Configure the Specify Study Products Action on Cases

To configure the _Specify Study Products_ action on the _Case_ object, create the action on the object and then configure a user action on the _Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle.

### Create the Specify Study Products Action on the Case Object

Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > Case > Actions**, and assign the _Specify Study Products_ action to the _Case_ object. We recommend not selecting the option to make the action _Available in All Lifecycle States_.

### Configure the Specify Study Products User Action on Case Lifecycle States

Add the _Specify Study Products_ action as a user action on the _Case Lifecycle_ object lifecycle. We recommend configuring the action on the following states:

* _Data Entry (Initial)_
* _Data Entry (Reopened)_

You can configure the action on additional states as required by your business process.

We recommend configuring the user action to perform conditionally when:

* **Report Type > equals > Study**
* **Study > Study Has Unspecified Products > equals > No**
