# Manage WHODrug Link Korea

Veeva Safety supports coding _External Products_ on domestic _Cases_ and _Localized Cases_ for Korea with Korea Drug Dictionary and WHODrug Dictionary, allowing you to cross-reference Korea Drug Dictionary and WHODrug codes on _Cases_ and _Localized Cases_ reportable to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). When you configure the WHODrug Link, for _External Products_ coded with either dictionary, Vault applies the corresponding code from the other dictionary to the product. By cross-referencing Korea Drug Dictionary and WHODrug codes, Vault eliminates the need to manually code _External Products_ twice and increases coding accuracy and consistency.

## Prerequisites

Consider the following prerequisites for managing the WHODrug Link Korea:

* Your Admin must <a href="/en/lr/866963/">enable WHODrug Link Korea</a>.
* Your organization must maintain valid WHODrug Link Korea, WHODrug, and Korea Drug Dictionary licenses.
* You must configure the applicable WHODrug Link Korea for the active versions of the <a href="/en/lr/827542/#">Korea Drug Dictionary</a> and <a href="/en/lr/01190/">WHODrug Dictionary</a> in your Vault.

## WHODrug Link Korea Versions

WHODrug releases new versions of WHODrug Link Korea twice per year, in March and September. Veeva makes <a class="external-link " href="https://rn.veevavault.help/en/gr/safety-central-dictionary-updates/#whodrug-link-korea" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new versions<i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a> available in your Vault within approximately two weeks of release. You control which version Vault uses for cross-referencing codes during case processing.

### Update Available Versions

When a new WHODrug Link Korea version is available to use in your Vault, the _Active Link Korea Version_ field on the _WHODrug Link Korea_ record displays a message alerting you that the available versions list is out of sync with the server. When this happens, you can import all available versions:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Dictionaries > WHODrug Link Korea**.
2. From the **All Actions** menu, select **Fetch Dictionary Release**.

### Update Version

To update the version used for case processing:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Dictionaries > WHODrug Link Korea**.
2. Select **Edit**.
3. In the **Active Link Korea Version** field, select the appropriate version.
4. Select **Save**.

When the update is complete, Vault sends you an email and notification. The status of the _WHODrug Link Korea_ becomes _Active_ and Vault cross-references WHODrug and Korea Drug Dictionary codes using the specified version.
