# Enable Performing Signal Individual Case Reviews

Learn how to configure your Vault to use _Signal Individual Case Reviews_ (ICRs) for signal detection and analysis.

## About the Feature

With the 25R2 release, users can now perform individual _Case_ reviews as part of signal detection.

Before configuring this feature in your Vault, you must <a href="/en/lr/860153/">enable Individual Case Routing Criteria</a>.

## Update Object Layout

For the _Signal Individual Case Review_ object, <a href="/en/lr/26387/#copy-a-layout">copy</a> the standard layout, set the new custom layout as the <a href="/en/lr/26387/#set-a-default-layout">default</a>, and <a href="/en/lr/26387/#delete-a-layout">delete</a> other existing custom layouts, if any.

## Configure the Open Safety Investigation Action on Signal Individual Case Review

To configure the _Open Safety Investigation_ action, <a href="/en/lr/43127/#assign-actions">assign</a> the action to the _Signal Individual Case Review_ object and do one (1) of the following:
* Add the action as a <a href="/en/lr/59885/#define-actions">user action</a> to the applicable states of the _Signal Individual Case Review_ object lifecycle.
* Add the action as an <a href="/en/lr/59885/#entry-actions">entry action</a> on any _Signal Individual Case Review_ object lifecycle state.

## Grant Permissions

Ensure the relevant <a href="/en/lr/22824/#objectpermissions">permission sets</a> are updated to grant the appropriate level of access to the _Signal Individual Case Review_ object, fields, and tabs according to your organization's process. Manage permissions from **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets > [Permission Set]**.
