With the 25R3 release, SafetyDocs supports the creation of two types of related Core Risk Management Plans (RMPs), offering more flexibility with how RMPs are developed and maintained.
Prerequisites
To enable EU Risk Management Plan Support in your Vault, you must enable Risk Management.
Overview
To enable this feature in your Vault:
- Update the Core Risk Management Plan object layout
- Configure Core Risk Management Plan Version actions
Update the Core Risk Management Plan Object Layout
To update the Core Risk Management Plan object layout:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Core Risk Management Plan > Layouts and select your current default Core Risk Management Plan layout.
- To the Details section, add the following fields:
- Core RMP Type
- Covered Countries
- To the System section, add the Based On field.
- Select Save.
Configure Core Risk Management Plan Version Actions
Assign the following actions to the Core Risk Management Plan Version object:
- Copy Version to Core RMP
- Create New Core RMP
Then, add the actions as user actions on the Complete lifecycle state of the Core RMP Version Lifecycle as follows:
- To create user actions for EU Core RMPs:
- Condition Type: Select All conditions are met
- If: Select Core Risk Management Plan > Core RMP Type > equals > EU RMP
- Allow the following actions
- Select Copy Version to Core RMP
- Action Label: Enter

- Action Label: Enter
- Select Add Action
- Select Create New Core RMP
- Action Label: Enter
Create New Core RMP
- Action Label: Enter
- Select Copy Version to Core RMP
- To create user actions for company Core RMPs:
- Condition Type: Select All conditions are met
- If: Select Core Risk Management Plan > Core RMP Type > equals > Company Core RMP
- Allow the following actions
- Select Copy Version to Core RMP
- Action Label: Enter
Copy Version to EU RMP
- Action Label: Enter
- Select Add Action
- Select Create New Core RMP
- Action Label: Enter
Create New EU RMP
- Action Label: Enter
- Select Copy Version to Core RMP
