# Enable EU Risk Management Plan Support

With the 25R3 release, Veeva SafetyDocs supports the creation of two types of related _Core Risk Management Plans (RMPs)_, offering more flexibility with how RMPs are developed and maintained. After you have enabled this feature, see <a href="/en/lr/835593/#manage-related-core-rmps">Manage Risk Management Plans</a> for more information.

## Prerequisites

To enable EU Risk Management Plan Support in your Vault, you must <a href="/en/lr/801756/">enable Risk Management</a>.

## Overview

Complete the following procedures to enable this feature in your Vault:
* [Update the _Core Risk Management Plan_ object layout][1]
* [Configure _Core Risk Management Plan Version_ actions][2]

## Update the Core Risk Management Plan Object Layout {#update-core-rmp-layout}

To update the _Core Risk Management Plan_ object layout:
1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > Core Risk Management Plan > Layouts** and select your current default _Core Risk Management Plan_ layout.
2. To the _Details_ section, <a href="/en/lr/26387/#how-to-add-object-fields">add</a> the following fields:
   * _Core RMP Type_
   * _Covered Countries_
3. To the _System_ section, add the _Based On_ field.
4. Select **Save**. 

## Configure Core Risk Management Plan Version Actions {#configure-core-rmp-version-actions}

<a href="/en/lr/43127/#assign-actions">Assign</a> the following actions to the _Core Risk Management Plan Version_ object:
* _Copy Version to Core RMP_
* _Create New Core RMP_

Then, add the actions as <a href="/en/lr/59885/#define-actions">user actions</a> on the _Complete_ lifecycle state of the _Core RMP Version Lifecycle_:
* Create the _Copy Version to Core RMP_ user action by populating the following details:
   * **Condition Type**: Select **Always**
   * **Allow the following actions**:
      * Select **Copy Version to Core RMP**
      * **Action Label**: Enter `Copy Version to Core RMP`
* Create the _Create New Core RMP_ user action by populating the following details:
   * **Condition Type**: Select **Always**
   * **Allow the following actions**:
      * Select **Create New Core RMP**
      * **Action Label**: Enter `Create New Core RMP`
