# Enable Transmission Document Generation Status

With the 26R1 release, Veeva Safety adds visibility to the status of generating _Transmission_ documents. The new _Transmission Document Status_ field indicates when Vault is generating documents. When generation completes, Vault clears the field.

## Update the Transmission Layout

On the _Transmission_ object, <a href="/en/lr/26387/#how-to-add-object-fields">add</a> the _Transmission Document Status_ field to the following object types:

* _Early Notification_
* _Submission_
* _Distribution_
