Enable Partner Distribution Jurisdictions

Learn how to enable Partner Distribution Jurisdictions in your vault.

Note Beginning with 24R1 in April 2024 and for all subsequent releases, Vault Safety General Release Help content is moving to a new site. Test the new site using Limited Release content.

About the Feature

Vault Safety supports specifying Reporting Family Jurisdictions on Partner Distribution Lists. When evaluating a Case, the system will use the list of countries defined when evaluating Distributions for each Partner. See Manage Partner Distribution Lists for more information.

Enable Partner Distribution Jurisdictions

To enable partner distribution jurisdictions, add a new related object section on the Partner Distribution List page layout for the jurisdiction countries as follows:

  1. In the Admin area, go to Configuration > Objects > Reporting Family.
  2. Go to the Page Layouts tab.
  3. In the list of Layouts, select Partner Distribution Detail Page Layout.
  4. At the top of the list, click the Add Section dropdown and select Related Object.
  5. In the Add Related Object Section window, enter the following:
    • Related Object: Select ‘Distribution Jurisdiction > Country’
    • Section Label: Enter ‘Distribution Jurisdiction (Countries)’
    • Section Name: Enter ‘distribution_jurisdiction’

  6. Select Done.
  7. Move the newly-added section up to just below the Details section.
  8. Select Save.
