Regularly manage EVDAS data from the Admin area.

Create Signal Product Reporting Periods

A Signal Product Reporting Period represents a collection of data used for Signal purposes for a specific period of time.

To create a Signal Product Reporting Period:

1. Go to Business Admin > Objects > Signal Product Reporting Periods and select Create.
2. Complete the following information:
   • Signal Product Reporting Period: Enter a name for the Signal Product Reporting Period.
   • Report Type: Select Ad-hoc or Planned from the picklist.

     Note You can choose either picklist option since the Report Type does not affect EVDAS data. To learn more about what these options are used for, see Create Signal Product Reporting Periods.

   • Reporting Period Start Date: Enter or select a start date for the reporting period from the calendar.
   • Reporting Period End Date: Enter or select an end date for the reporting period from the calendar.
   • Signal Product Profile: Select a Signal Product Profile from the picklist.
3. Save.

Prepare the eRMR

After downloading the eRMR from EVDAS, perform the steps below to prepare it for loading:

1. Open the .CSV file.
2. Insert a new first column titled Signal Product Reporting Period.
3. Go to Business Admin > Objects > Signal Product Reporting Periods to retrieve the ID displayed in the ID column.
4. Copy and paste this ID into the cells under the Signal Product Reporting Period column. The same ID should be used for each row.



Signal Product Reporting Period on the eRMR

Use the following criteria to make sure the file is valid for loading:

• The eRMR format is in .CSV.
• The file must contain valid MedDRA PTs.
• The eRMR must contain the standard fields. Do not add or remove any columns or change the column order when exporting the .CSV file from EVDAS.

Export EVDAS Data

To export EVDAS data:

1. Go to Business Admin > Objects > Signal EVDAS eRMR.
   All the columns displayed on this page will be exported. You can reorder and edit them as desired.
2. Select the All Actions () menu at the top right of the page.

3. In the Export section, select CSV or Excel.

Result

The data is converted into your selected format and downloaded.
