Enable Extend Definition of Suspect to Drug Not Administered

About the Feature

With the 23R3 release, Admins can configure Vault Safety to evaluate Case Products with a Drug Role of Drug Not Administered as suspect. When turned on, this functionality extends across Inbox Item intake, Case processing, Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) Transmissions, and aggregate reports. Previously, the definition of suspect could include Case Products with a Drug Role of Suspect or Interacting only.

After enabling this feature, Admins should review the Suspect reporting rule parameter and make revisions if needed.

Turn On Extend Definition of Suspect to Drug Not Administered

Complete the following steps to turn on this feature in your Vault:

  1. Go to Admin > Settings > Safety General Settings.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. In the Other Options section, select the Extend Suspect Definition to Include Drug Not Administered checkbox.
  4. Select Save.
