About Risk Management Plans

Vault SafetyDocs allows you to track the authoring, approval, and distribution of global and local risk management plans (RMPs) and additional risk minimization measures (aRMMs). You can also categorize and track identified risks with related measures to be taken both globally and by market.

For any country that requires local risk management plans, Vault can create them from a Core Risk Management Plan Version record. For information about risk management, see Track Risk Management Plans.

Prerequisite

Your Admin must configure your Vault for Risk Management.

Enable Local Risk Management Plans for a Country

To enable Vault to create local risk management plans for a Country:

  1. Navigate to Business Admin > Countries > [country].
  2. Select Edit.
  3. In the RMP Required field, select RMP Required.
  4. Select Save.

Result

When you run the Create Local RMPs action on a Core Risk Management Plan Version record, Vault creates Local RMP and Local RMP Version records for any Product Registrations associated with the Core Risk Management Plan’s Product Family in the selected Country.
