With the 25R2 release, users can generate a Workbench Report directly from a Workbench Report Definition. This feature allows users to reuse standard templates for Workbench Report generation. For more information, see Generate & Run Reports from Workbench Report Definitions.
Configure the Generate Report Action on Workbench Report Definitions
To configure the Generate Report action, assign the action to the Workbench Report object and do one of the following:
- Select the Available in All Lifecycle States checkbox to apply atomic action security defaults for the applicable lifecycle states. Then, assign the action to the Workbench Report Definition object type.
- Add the action as a user action to the applicable states of the Workbench Report object lifecycle.
Optional: Configure Notification Preferences
By default, Vault sends summary notifications instead of immediate alerts. You can configure your notification preferences depending on your business needs.
