Veeva Safety supports deleting Case Products and Case Adverse Events with a single click. Deletions cascade to associated records and clear references in related records. This feature saves time, reduces manual effort, and minimizes the risk of data inconsistencies during Case processing.

Configure Simplified Deletion

To configure your Vault to cascade Case Product deletions to associated child records, update the following objects:

  • Case Product Device Code
  • Case Product Dosage
  • Case Product Indication
  • Case Product Registration
  • Case Product Similar Incident
  • Case Product Substance

For each object, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > [Object] > Fields.
  2. Select the Case Product field, and then select Edit.
  3. In the Deletion Rules field, select Cascade delete children records.
  4. Select Save.
