Support to filter Cases by Approval Date in aggregate reports was added in Vault Safety 21R1. You can filter by Approval Date in DSUR, PBRER, and PSUR aggregate reports.

For Vaults created in 20R3 or earlier, an administrator must perform configuration to add the Filter Cases By field to the Aggregate Report layout. Vaults originally deployed in 21R1 display this field on layouts by default.

Vault will continue to use the Case Receipt Date / New Info Date by default if this feature is not configured.

26R3 Update: Safety Aggregates: Country Filter

With the 26R3 release, Safety Aggregate Reports (DSUR, PBRER, PSUR) now support flexible country filtering capabilities. Organizations can easily include or exclude case data based on specific country criteria, streamlining the creation of targeted aggregate reports tailored to individual health authority requirements. See (26R3) Configure Safety Aggregates: Country Filter to configure your Vault for the updated feature.

After configuring this feature, see the following for more information:

Update Aggregate Report Layout

  1. In the Admin area, go to Configuration > Objects > Aggregate Report > Layout, and then select Aggregate Report Detail Page Layout.
  2. In the Details section, select Add and then add the Filter Cases By field from the dropdown list.
  3. Select Save at the top right of the page.

Result

Users can now specify how aggregate reports will filter Cases within the reporting period.

Grant Permissions to Edit the Filter Cases By Field

Go to Users & Groups > Permission Sets and update the appropriate Permission Sets (such as Safety Writer) to grant Edit access to the Filter Cases By field.

(26R3) Configure Safety Aggregates: Country Filter

To display the Country filter field on DSUR, PBRER, and PSUR aggregate report types, update the existing Hide Country Filter layout rule and update the following configuration:

  • Description: The country selection/filter is only applied to the CIOMS II, DSUR, PBRER, and PSUR reports
  • IF this Layout Rule Expression is TRUE: object_type__vr.name__v != 'CIOMS II' && object_type__vr.name__v != 'DSUR' && object_type__vr.name__v != 'PBRER' && object_type__vr.name__v != 'PSUR'
