About the Feature
With the 23R3 release, Veeva Safety includes Agency-specific methods for Substance matching during cross reporting. This feature supports Agencies that require Case Substances to match exactly with Agency-registered Substances. With the added flexibility, for each Agency, Business Admins can set cross reporting evaluations of Case Substances as a subset, a partial match, or an exact match.

26R3 Update: Cross-Reporting Substance Matching Options
With the 26R3 release, you can configure different cross reporting Substance matching methods for X→Investigational and X→Marketing ICSR reports for the same Agency. To configure your Vault for the updated feature, add the following fields to the Agency object layout:
- Cross Reporting Substance Lookup Method
- Inv. Cross Reporting Substance Lookup
- Marketing Cross Reporting Substance Lookup
