The Inbox Item to Case Compare page allows users to compare data on a new Inbox Item to a previous Case version. After you have enabled this feature, you can customize the page layout. See Perform Inbox Item to Case Compare for details about how users use the page.
Updates
We have added the following update for this feature:
- Disable Auto-Calculations on Case Promotion: With the 22R3 release, we provided additional capabilities to turn off auto-calculation on the page for Inbox Item promotion. To use this feature, update the Transmission Profile object layouts for the A2S, Connection, and Partner Exchange object types to include the Auto-Calculation Options field in the Inbound Settings section. Then, populate field for the applicable Transmission Profiles.
Update Case Promotion Settings
Enable your Vault’s intake settings, including follow-up options, as appropriate.
Grant Permissions
Ensure the Administration Actions permission set has View permission for the Case Promotion Settings page so the appropriate users can configure the page. You can also configure Atomic Security define access to certain fields on the Case or child records.
Update the Case Compare Page
Ensure the Case Compare Followup layout includes the Source MedDRA Version field in the System section.
