Enable Safety Case Investigation

With the 26R2 release, Vault introduces a standardized framework for Safety Case Investigations. This feature leverages Vault’s existing dashboard and analytics tools to support compliance monitoring and audit readiness for all investigational activities. Specific to late case investigations, Safety introduces standard objects, layouts, report types, and lifecycles to support proactive oversight of issues that cause late cases.

Update Object Layouts

To configure object layouts for late case investigations:

• On the Safety Case Investigation object, copy the standard Late Case Investigation object layout and set it to Active.
  • If applicable, delete other custom Late Case Investigation layouts.
• Add the following fields to applicable Case object layouts:
  • Potential Late Reason
  • Potential Late Reason Details
