Learn how to configure Product auto-coding and browser capabilities on Inbox Items.

About the Feature

With the 23R2 release, Vault Safety supports auto-coding and browsing for Products that are not included in the WHODrug dictionary on Inbox Items. You can also search for a Company Product using the Product Registration fields, Trade Name, or Product (As Reported). Additionally, you can use filters to narrow your search.

24R2 Update: Faster Company Product Selection on Inbox Item Update

With the 24R2 release, when auto-coding reported Products, when Vault finds a match, Vault automatically displays the Trade Name field along with the Company Product and Registration fields. In addition, when you hover over the populated Company Product field to display related details, Product Family automatically appears. Previously, these had to be configured.

Update the Inbox Item Layout Products Section

Perform the following steps to configure the Inbox Item layout:

  1. Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Inbox Item > Layouts > Inbox Item Detail Page Layout.
  2. In the Products section, select the Edit icon. An Edit Products window appears.
  3. In the Fields section, add Product Coding App and then select Done.
  4. Select Save.
