With the 24R2 release, Vault supports product matching based on default alias. You can define alias criteria, including country, route of administration, dosage, dose form, and dose strength. During E2B and API import, Vault ensures imported products align with records in your Product library and auto-codes products with the same alias.
After performing the configuration on this page, you must populate the fields on the applicable records.
Update the Product Alias Layout
You must update the Product Alias object layout to include the Default Alias field and the applicable matching criteria. We reccomend inserting a Details section, labeling it Matching Criteria, and adding the following fields to the section:
- Country
- Dose Form
- Dose Strength (Unit)
- Dose Strength
- Organization
- Route of Administration
- Country Alias Match Type
- Dose Form Alias Match Type
- Dose Strength (Unit) Alias Match Type
- Dose Strength Alias Match Type
- Organization Alias Match Type
- ROA Alias Match Type
