About the Feature
Aggregate report .xlsx
tabulation templates were added in Vault Safety 20R2.
This new tabulation template format allows Admins to configure Vault Merge Field tokens to display additional aggregate details (product family, date, etc.) on the generated Aggregate Line Listings and Cumulative reports. In addition, the updated templates remove the Veeva logo.
When templates are updated, an Admin must replace the existing aggregate report tabulation templates to enable the new templates.
Replace Tabulation Templates
- In Admin, go to Business Admin > Documents and Binders.
- Open each of the Document Types under Template > Aggregate Summary Tabulations, and replace the template files with the new
.xlsx
templates. The following section provides the links to download the new standard.xlsx
templates.
Result
The tabulation templates are updated and future aggregate reports use them. For information about standard table templates, see Configure Aggregate Report Templates.
Add Merge Fields Shared Document Field
With .xlsx
templates, you can add custom tokens to reports to pull data from the Aggregate Report object. In any document for which you want to generate merge field tokens, the Merge Fields shared document field must be associated with the document type. Configuring Merge Fields for Microsoft Word & Excel provides more information on enabling merge fields.
Note: You must also configure the merge field tokens on the template.
