Learn how to enable outbound emails from Vault using a from email address.
About the Feature
With the 24R2 release, support for configurable from email addresses was added to Vault. By default, Vault sends an Email Transmission using the standard @veevavault.com domain. The configuration steps on this page provide instructions on enabling sending Email Transmissions using a from email address with a custom domain.
After completing the steps on this page, see Configure Email Transmissions for instructions on creating custom outbound domains and from email addresses. After completing the configuration, Send an Email Transmission provides more information on sending and generating Email Transmissions.
Update the Email Profile Detail Page Layout
Follow the steps below to add the From Email Address field to the Email Profile Detail Page Layout on the Transmission Profile object:
- Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Transmission Profile > Layouts > Email Profile Detail Page Layout.
- In the Details section, add the From Email Address field.
- Select Save.
