About the Feature

With the 24R2 release, support for using Inbox Item Product fields and Default Aliases for Product matching and auto-coding was added.

After performing the configuration on this page, see Manage Products in Vault Safety for more information about this criteria and how to add a Default Alias. For more information on Product Alias matching, see Inbox Item Study and Product Matching.

Update the Product Alias Layout

Update the Product Alias layout to add the Default Alias field and the additional matching fields:

  1. Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Product Alias > Layouts > Product Alias Detail Page Layout.
  2. In the Details section, add the Default Alias field.
  3. After the Details section, insert a detail form section with the following information:
    • Section Label: Matching Fields
    • Section Name: matching_fields
    • Section Layout: Detail Form - Two Columns
  4. Select Done.
  5. In the Matching Fields section, add the following fields:
    • Country
    • Dose Form
    • Dose Strength (Unit)
    • Dose Strength
    • Organization
    • Route of Administration
    • Country Alias Match Type
    • Dose Form Alias Match Type
    • Dose Strength (Unit) Alias Match Type
    • Dose Strength Alias Match Type
    • Organization Alias Match Type
    • ROA Alias Match Type
  6. Select Save.
