About the Product Family Rule Parameter
Introduced in 24R2, Vault Safety supports defining Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR) Reporting Rules for Cases containing Products within a certain Product Family. This allows for simpler configuration and maintenance as Reporting Rules do not need to be updated because of a change in the Product Library.

Update Product Family Layout
Complete the following steps to add the API Name field to the Product Family layout:
- Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Product Family > Layouts > Product Family Details Page Layout.
- Add the API Name field to the Details section.
- Select Save.
