Enable Auto-Submit & Localization Transmission Handling

Learn how to configure your Vault for improved Localized Case processing.

About the Feature

With the 25R1 release, Vault introduced the following improvements to streamline Localized Case processing:

  • The Regenerate Email Transmissions When Submitting to Gateway application setting improves the localized submission process by regenerating Transmission documents for Auto-Submit Email Transmissions.
  • The Change Localized Case State on Creation application setting and System Processing State state type on the Localized Case Lifecycle provide a standard method of hiding Localized Cases from users until they are globally approved. Previously, a custom lifecycle state and entry actions were required to address this.
  • The new Calculate Japan Reportability action for Japan Localized Cases enables generating Case Product Registrations, evaluating reporting obligations, and creating Local Reporting Detail records in a single step.

Overview

Complete the following procedures to configure Auto-Submit & Localization Transmission Handling in your Vault:

  1. Update ICSR Reporting Settings
  2. Configure the Calculate Japan Reportability Action on Localized Cases
  3. Configure the Submit to Gateway Action on Localized Cases

Update ICSR Reporting Settings

Complete the following steps to turn on this feature in your Vault:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Settings > ICSR Reporting.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Select the appropriate checkboxes, as required by your business processes:
    • Change Localized Case State on Creation
    • Regenerate Email Transmissions When Submitting to Gateway
  4. Select Save.

Configure the Calculate Japan Reportability Action on Localized Cases

To configure the Calculate Japan Reportability action, assign the action to the Localized Case object and do one (1) of the following:

  • Select the Available in All Lifecycle States checkbox to apply default atomic action security for the applicable lifecycle states.
  • Add the action as a user action to the applicable states of the Localized Case Lifecycle object lifecycle.
  • Add the action as an entry action on any Localized Case Lifecycle object lifecycle state.

Configure the Submit to Gateway Action on Localized Cases

To configure the Submit to Gateway action, assign the action to the Localized Case object and do one (1) of the following:

  • Select the Available in All Lifecycle States checkbox to apply default atomic action security for the applicable lifecycle states.
  • Add the action as a user action to the applicable states of the Localized Case Lifecycle object lifecycle.
  • Add the action as an entry action on any Localized Case Lifecycle object lifecycle state.
