Enable Mask Dosage in Blinded Distributions

Learn how to configure your Vault to mask dosages in blinded report previews and masked distributions.

About the Feature

With the 21R2 release, Vault Safety introduced the option to mask dosage information on blinded report previews and masked distributions. The feature was originally introduced with Support-enablement. In 23R3, the feature is enabled through an Admin Checkbox.

Unless this behavior is enabled, report generation continues to populate dosage information by default. This will not impact previously generated reports, which must be re-generated to take effect.

Note If Veeva Support previously enabled this feature in your Vault, you do not need to take any action. In your Vault’s Submission and Distribution Settings, the Mask Dosage on Blinded Forms checkbox is automatically selected.

Turn On Mask Dosage in Blinded Distributions

Complete the following steps to turn on the Mask Dosage in Blinded Distributions feature in your Vault:

  1. Go to Admin > Settings > Submission and Distribution Settings.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Select the Mask Dosage on Blinded Forms checkbox.
  4. Select Save.
