Enable Product Family Datasheets

About the Feature

With 23R3, Vault Safety supports creating Datasheets for Product Families. Upon creation, the Product Family Datasheet is inherited by all Products within the family that do not have a specified Datasheet. If the Product Family Datasheet changes, those updates are automatically included for Products sharing the Datasheet.

Update the Product Family Page Layout

Complete the following steps to add the Family Datasheet field to the Product Family object:

  1. Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Product Family > Page Layouts > Product Family Detail Page Layout.
  2. In the Details section, add the Family Datasheet field.
  3. Select Save.
