Enable Manual Product-Event Tracking

Learn how to enable manual Product-Event tracking.

About the Feature

This feature allows you to manually create and manage a Product-Event from the Product-Event tab.

Update the Product-Event Object Page Layout

Perform the following configuration to update the Product-Event page layout:

  1. Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Product-Event.
  2. Go to the Product-Event Detail Page Layout.
  3. Edit the Details section Section Layout to display one column.

Update Signal Permission Sets

Configure Signal permission sets based on your Organization’s needs.

We recommend the following permission set configuration for permission sets that require access to manually create and edit Product-Events:

  1. Go to Users & Groups > Permission Sets > [permission set].
  2. Go to the Objects tab > Product-Event object.
  3. Make sure the Product-Event object has at least Create and Edit permissions.
  4. In the Object Field Permissions section, grant Edit permissions for the following fields:
    • Product-Event
    • Signal Product Profile
    • Adverse Event Term
  5. Repeat the above steps for any other applicable permission sets.
