About the Feature

Support for the Signal Workbench was added to Vault Signal in 22R2. This feature allows you to monitor tracked Product-Event records using filters and stratification that are accompanied by visual diagrams.

Once you have completed the configuration steps on this page, see Use the Signal Workbench to learn about the different components on the Workbench page and how to use them.

Create the Open Workbench Action

Perform the following configuration to create the Open Workbench action:

  1. Go to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Product-Event.
  2. In the Actions tab, create an Open Workbench action using the following information:
    • Label: Open Workbench
    • Status: Active
    • Name: open_workbench__c
    • Leave Available in All Lifecycle States unselected so that you can assign the Open Workbench action to a specific lifecycle state or user role.

Update the Signal Permission Set

Perform the following configuration to grant permissions to the Product-Event object and Workbench page.

  1. Go to Users & Groups > Permission Sets > [permission set].
  2. In the Objects tab, make sure the Product-Event object has at least Edit permissions.
