Learn how to configure your Vault to group countries by region.
About the Feature
With the 25R1 release, Vault Safety supports grouping countries by standard and custom regions. When enabled, Vault populates one (1) of 13 standard Region values on all existing standard Country records, except for Antarctica and Unknown. Business Admins can manage and revise the existing data structure for Regions by creating and editing Region records and by applying Region values to custom Country records. Future enhancements will leverage this data structure.
This feature is Auto-on; however, some components require additional configuration. After configuring this feature, see Manage Regions for more information.
Update the Country Layout
Complete the following steps to add the Region field to the Country object layout:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > Country > Layouts > Country Detail Page Layout.
- In the Details section, add the Region field.
- Select Save.
