About the Feature

Support for manual intake of Study-related Inbox Items was added in 21R1.

Vaults originally deployed in 21R1 or later include the configuration required for this feature by default.

Vaults originally deployed in 20R3 or earlier must have the configuration upgrades described on this page to enable this feature.

Prerequisite

Make sure you have followed the configuration steps in Enable Inbox Items before following the instructions on this page.

Grant Study Field Edit Access to the Case Intake Actions Permission Set

Ensure the Case Intake Actions permission set is granted Edit permission to the Study field on the Inbox Item object.

  1. In the Admin area, go to Users & Groups > Permission Sets > Case Intake Actions > Objects > Inbox Item.
  2. Select Edit from the Object Field Permissions section.
  3. Grant Edit permissions to the Study Field.
  4. Save the page.
