Learn how to control the Narrative Preview option for CIOMS II reports in your Vault.
About the Feature
In the 23R3 release, Vault Safety introduced enhancements to the CIOMS II Line Listing of Adverse Drug Reactions, including incorporating narrative previews on the CIOMS II report. This feature is Auto-on by default, but can be turned off in your Vault if required. The following section describes how to turn off this option in your Vault.
Turn Off Narrative Preview for CIOMS II Reports
- Go to Admin > Setting > Aggregate Report Settings.
- Select Edit.
- Clear the Allow Narrative Preview to be included in the report checkbox. You can restore the Narrative Preview at any time by re-selecting this checkbox.
- Save your changes.
Result
The Narrative Preview no longer appears in the Comments field when configuring a CIOMS II report.
