Enable Support Multiple Reviewers During PSMF Periodic Review

With the 26R1 release, SafetyDocs supports multiple reviewers for PSMF Periodic Reviews, allowing you to to involve multiple stakeholders in the PSMF review process without manual workarounds.

Prerequisite

To enable this feature in your Vault, you must enable PSMF Periodic Reviews.

Overview

To enable this feature in your Vault:

• Enable the Assign PSMF Review tasks to multiple users setting
• Select a value for the Periodic Review Outcome Handling for Multiple Reviewers setting
• Update object layouts
• Update document lifecycle state security settings

Update Object Layouts

Update the following object layouts:

• PSMF Document Review
• PSMF Periodic Review

Update the PSMF Document Review Object Layout

To update the PSMF Document Review object layout:

1. Copy the standard layout for the PSMF Document Review object and ensure the new layout is active.
2. Within the new layout, add the Generate Tasks for All Reviewers field above the Assigned To field.
3. Update the Status of the following layout rules to Active, then select Save:
   • Hide Review Option for Scheduled Reviews
   • Hide Assigned To
4. Set the copied layout as the default.
5. Delete any other existing custom layouts.

Update the PSMF Periodic Review Object Layout

To update the PSMF Periodic Review object layout, copy the standard layout for the PSMF Periodic Review object, set the copied layout as the default, and delete any other existing custom layouts.

Update Document Lifecycle State Security Settings

To update the PSMF Periodic Review SME role security settings for the affected document lifecycles:

1. Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Document Lifecycles > [Document Lifecycle] > States > [State] > Security Settings.
2. Select Edit.
3. For each specified document lifecycle and state, select the following security settings checkboxes for the PSMF Periodic Review SME role, then select Save:
