With the 26R1 release, Safety supports IDMP MPID data when coding WHODrug products, providing greater data granularity to satisfy regional submission requirements.
This feature updates the WHODrug Search browser to include an IDMP MPID column, and updates the label of the existing MPID column to UMC MPID for clarity. When a user codes a WHODrug product with an IDMP MPID value, Vault maps that data to the relevant Case Product or Case Drug History. If configured, Vault will use the IDMP MPID when generating E2B(R3) files for submission to specific agencies.
Prerequisite
To enable this feature in your Vault, you must first activate the WHODrug Dictionary.
Overview
To enable this feature:
- Update object layouts and fields
- Select the Use IDMP MPID for Submissions checkbox on the relevant Transmission Profiles, as required by the relevant agency
