Enable the WHODrug Link Korea, which cross-references Korea Drug Dictionary and WHODrug codes for case processing and submissions.

About the Feature

With the 25R2 release, Veeva Safety can cross-reference Korea Drug Dictionary and WHODrug codes using WHODrug Link Korea. This is useful when coding External Products for domestic Cases and foreign Localized Cases reportable to the MFDS, eliminating manual code entry, such as in the following scenarios:

  • Adding the applicable WHODrug code when processing a Korea domestic Case with an External Product coded using a Korea Drug Dictionary code.
  • Adding the applicable Korea Drug Dictionary code when processing a Korea foreign Localized Case with an External Product coded using a WHODrug code.

When new versions of the WHODrug Link Korea are released, they become available in your Vault. You control which version of the WHODrug Link Korea your Vault uses for coding.

Once configured, Manage WHODrug Link Korea describes how to maintain the WHODrug Link Korea version and Code WHODrug Products describes how to use this feature.
