Learn how to configure your Safety Vault to clearly identify which Datasheet type was used in expectedness evaluations.

About the Feature

With the 25R2 release, Safety increases visibility into which type of Datasheet Vault used for each expectedness evaluation. The new Datasheet Type field on Case Assessment Expectedness records indicates whether the Datasheet type was Core, Local, Study IB, or Study Product IB. Vault populates this field on new Case Assessment Expectedness records only. Records created before this field was introduced will not include a value. Optionally, you can grant permissions to applicable users to manually enter Datasheet Type values.

Update Grid Views

Users can add the Datasheet Type field to the grid view of Case Assessment Expectedness records.

Grant Object Permissions

Ensure your permission sets are updated to grant the appropriate level of access for Admins and users to objects and fields according to your organization’s process. Manage object permissions from Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets > [Permission Set] > Objects > [Object].

For users who must manually add Datasheet Type values, grant Edit access to the Datasheet Type field of the Case Assessment Expectedness object.
