About Troubleshooting Workbench
You can identify issues that occur during Workbench processes using the following methods:

Depending on your business needs, you can configure tab collections and the object layout for Workbench Logs.
Review Workbench Logs
When an action fails due to a SQL error, you can access Workbench Logs to identify and resolve the SQL issue. To do this:
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Workbench Logs.
- Select the Workbench Log. By default, Vault sorts these logs by the day and time the error was encountered, starting with the most recent.
- In the Workbench Log Data field, select the attachment to download the error log.
Scenarios where Vault may create a Workbench Log include:
- Running a Workbench Report
- Running a Workbench Report Set
- When scheduled Workbench Report Sets run
- When scheduled PVA Obligations run
- Applying filters to a Workbench Dashboard
Review Job Instances
For certain Workbench jobs, you can download the job instance log to resolve encountered errors. The following table describes the jobs in Workbench for which you can download a log:
