With the 26R1 release, Veeva Safety adds the Product Use Type field to Product records, enabling you to designate Products as Company Use, Study Use, or External Use. When selecting company products in the Product Browser, available during intake and case processing, Vault returns only Products with a Product Use Type of Company Use or blank. Returning only relevant Company Products supports faster product coding and case processing.

Update the Product Layout
Add the Product Use Type field to applicable Product object layouts.
