With the 26R1 release, Veeva Safety includes configurable Study Number Aliases to support E2B-imported cases for studies with multiple sponsors. When you set up Study Number Aliases, during automated intake Vault can match external study numbers to Studies in your Study library. This feature improves the accuracy and efficiency of intake, reduces manual effort, and supports automated Case promotion for structured sources from trusted partners.

Update the Study Layout
On the Study object layout, insert the Study Number Alias related object section.
Update the Inbox Item Layout
On the Inbox Item object layout, add the Study Number Alias Match field to the Case Validity & Source section.
